EAST INDIA COMPANY, Madras Presidency, Northern Circars, European style coinages, 1794-97, copper struck at the Soho Mint, Birmingham, dub (1/48 rupee) 1794 (2), 1797 (3), half dub (1/96 rupee) 1794 (1) and 1797 (6) (Pr.310, 319, 316, 323, KM.392, 394, 397, 398). Mostly fine, some better, as recovered from finds in Ceylon. (12)
