SEVERINA, wife of Aurelian, (A.D. 270-275), billon antoninianus, issued 274-5, Rome mint, (3.56 grams), obv. diademed bust to right of Severina on crescent, around SEVERINA AVG, rev. CONCORDIA AVGG, in exergue **G*XXIR, Aurelian and Concordia both standing facing each other clasping hands, (S.11704, RIC 3, C.3). Attractive deep toning, well centred and nearly extremely fine.
