POSTUMUS, (A.D. 259-268), Cologne mint, issued 262-265, billon antoninianus, (3.08 grams), obv. IMP C POSTVMVS P F AVG, radiate draped bust to right of Postumus, rev. MONETA AVG, Moneta standing left, holding scales and cornucopiae, (S.10962, RIC 75, RSC 199). Toned, nearly extremely fine with a striking portrait.

Postumus depicts Moneta on the reverse as a reminder that his coinage was superior in metal quality, weight and engraving style to that of his rival Gallienus.
