MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, Rome mint, (2.844 grams), issued 235-6, obv. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. VICTORIA AVG, Victory advancing to right, holding wreath and palm, (S.8317, RIC 16, RSC 99a). Bright, extremely fine with traces of mint bloom.
