MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, issued 170, Rome mint, (3.42 grams), obv. M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXIIII, around laureate head to right, rev. SALVTI AVG COS III in exergue, Salus standing to left feeding snake entwined around altar, and holding sceptre, (cf.S.4927, RIC 222, RSC 543). Toned, very fine.
