DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 84, obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around IMP CAES DOMIT[IANVS] AVG GERMANIC, rev. around PM TR POT III IMP V COS X PP, Minerva standing to left, holding spear and thunderbolt, (cf.S.2741, RIC 49, RSC 359). Surface adhesion with some porosity, otherwise nearly very fine.

Ex Noble Numismatics, sale 56, (lot 2166), with old collector's ticket.
