L. FURIUS CN.F. Brocchus, (63 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.87 grams), obv. Ceres bust to right, between wheat-ear and barley corn, III VIR across field, BROCCHI below, rev. curule chair between fasces, L. FVRI/CN.F above, (S.365, Cr.414/1, Syd.902, RSC.Furia 23). Attractive grey patina, banker's mark on obverse, otherwise very fine, scarce.
