[L.F./GAL] in exergue, (S.262, Cr.349/1, Syd.712, RSC.Memmia 8); Anonymous series, (c.157-6 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.96 grams), obv. head of Roma right X behind, rev. Victory in a biga of horses to right, ROMA in ex, (S.76, Cr.197/1a, RSC 6, Syd.376). Nearly very fine - very fine. (2)

The Memmius piece was issued by special decree of the senate - as indicated by the legend EX SC (ex senatus consulto).
