PELOPONNESOS, Arkadian League, Megalopolis, (c.80's-50's B.C.), silver triobol or hemidrachm, (2.33 grams), obv. laureate head of Zeus to left, rev. naked Pan seated left, on rock holding lagobolon, to left eagle on knee of Pan, monogram of **DI* to left, to right traces of *DE* and **MEG*. (cf.S.2719, BCD 1563 [p.371], Dengate [MN 13] Group III, Issue 4, BMC 5 [p.188], McClean 6989). Weak in places, good very fine and rare.

Ex BCD Collection, obtained in the Spring of 1985.
