ISRAEL, medal in .900 fine gold (16.17gm) in 18ct gold frame (5.83gm) total weight 22gm, obverse, Theodor Herzl 1860-1960, reverse, emblems of twelve tribes of Israel 14 Mai 1948, issued on 100th anniversary of birth of Father of Zionism. Sweated surface from wearing, otherwise very fine.
