WORLD WAR II, Tarawa, folder with book by Robert Sherrod, 'Tarawa, the Story of a Battle' (1985 edn), 207pp. 12 pages of plates; another publication, 'After the Battle, Tarawa and Operation Galvanic', 53pp, many illustrations, (1977): map; photos and other memorabilia; Iwo Jima, various, newspaper clippings, Grenada stamp with flag raising, similar postcard; Badges (8), including HMAS Sydney, Royal Corps of Australian Army Ordinance, AIF WWI, Kiribati & Tuvalu Police badges etc.; Germany, copies of Testimonal document to S. Brigadefuhrer - Major General Hermann Fegelein, commander 8th SS Kav. Division, commemorating 33 days of a continuing action the award of the 'Nahkampfspange' (Close combat clasp Grade II silver), Dec. 5, 1943 signed by General of Panzargroup 1st Pz Army; and another award of Knight's cross of the Iron Cross, 22 December 1942 to the same person as SS Oberfuhrer, (printed signature by Hitler) (both documents with stamps); Other German documents from Hesse Will of 1888, postman's book of deliveries 1893 and a land title document of 1907; Barnes 'Discount and commission tables' booklet.
