GEORGE III, new coinage 1816-20, silver halfcrown, small laureate head, to right, 1817 (S.3789, ESC 618). Grey tone with blue and gold highlights, nearly uncirculated and rare thus.

Ex W.H. Lampard Collection lot 2328, previously from Wellington Coin Club auction, purchased in 1988.
