EDWARD THE CONFESSOR, (1042-1066), silver penny, hammer cross type, issued 1059-1062, obv. crowned bust bearded right with sceptre, rev. short cross voided with crescents at each end, DVNINC ON HAEST (Dunic of Hastings), (S.1182, N.828, Br.8, BMC XI). Nearly very fine, rare mint.
