JAMES I, (1603 - 1625), third coinage 1619-25, silver crown, mm lis, issued 1623, (29.61 grams), obv. die flaw below ground line in early stages, (S.2664, N.2120, Cooper X/XVII). Lightly toned, trace of double striking on the obverse, otherwise good very fine and rare.

Ex Cornwall Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 93 (lot 2386) and previously from Seaby Coin & Medal Bulletin, London, May 1983 (E276) with ticket.
