NETHERLAND EAST INDIES (INDONESIA), countermarked coinage of Sumenep (on the eastern end of the Madura Island off the north-east coast of Java), silver eight reales of Mexico City Mint an issue of Charles IIII, 1791, [KM.109); type with countermark of five petal flower or Madura star, (KM.201.2). Countermark very fine, host coin fine, rare.
