FRANCE, L‚opold Walcher de Molthein medallion as a plaque, in lead, 1889, (76mm), by S Deloye, obverse, L. Walcher de Molthein to left, with minute representations of ancient Greek coins around as a wreath, reverse, plain with mounting pin removed. Very fine and rare.

L Walcher de Molthein was Austro-Hungarian consul to Paris and a numismatist. Ex Jean Elsen, Auction Sale 69 (lot 2986) with ticket (estimate 300 Euros).
