THIRD OF EXCHANGE, Hobart Town, Sept 28th 1830, ú150, at thirty days sight of this my third of Exchange, first and second of same Tenor and Date unpaid, Pay to the Order of B.B.Thomas Esq, for the sum of Five hundred pounds SG, signed by Thomas Dutton, marked (43) at top edge and marked in red ink, I.F.G (43) and also 1st By/ 2nd By, signed on back by B B Thomas and initials I.F.G, stationary with ship within circle and ornate scroll work top and bottom, below, Book, Hobart Town. Angled left edge clip, very fine.
