COMMONWEALTH, (1649-1660), silver crown, 1656/4, (30.21 grams), reverse with date 1656 with large last 6 over small 6 and 4, (S.3214, N.2721, ESC 9a[R]). Attractive dark grey tone, round and nearly very fine, and rare.

Ex Seaby's, London, bought on commission from Glendining's Auction Sale July 7, 1982 (lot 77).
