COMMONWEALTH, (1649-1660), silver crown, 1654, (29.67 grams), obverse with first N of England joined to outer circle, (S.3214, N.2721, ESC 7 [R3]). Attractive dark grey tone with light polishing, round and very fine/nearly very fine and very rare.

Ex Spink, London, October 1988 and obtained from the Glendining's Auction, London, October 3-4, 1988 (lot 216).
