CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Exeter mint 1643-1646, silver crown, mm rose, issued 1644, Lockett 6 obverse IIb, (28.80 grams), obv. colon stops in legend, rev. mm divides date with pellet stops in legend, (S.3057, N.2556, Brooker 1032 [this coin]). Toned, very fine or better and rare.
Ex Spink, London, November 1982 from the Numismatic Circular October 1982 (No.7427), and previously from the John Brooker Collection (No.1032), and earlier coming from the Herbert M. Lingford Collection sold Glendining's 24 October 1950 (lot 184) with tickets.
