CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Truro mint 1642-1643, silver crown, mm rose, issued 1642-3, Lockett 2 obv.IIa, (27.83 grams), obv. king's head in profile, rev. shield with 'barrel' garniture of 12 even scrolls, (S.3045, N.2533, Brooker 1010 [same dies]). Toned, slightly double struck both sides, hexagonal shaped flan, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.
