CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Truro mint 1642-1643, silver crown, mm rose, issued 1642-3, Lockett 4 obv.IIb, (29.25 grams), obv. king's head facing, rev. single stop pellets in legend, (S.3045, N.2531, Brooker 1012 [same dies]). Toned, double struck both sides and two large striking cracks at 3.00 and 9.00, squarish flan, otherwise about extremely fine and scarce.
