CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Tower mint under Parliament, silver crown, mm sun, issued 1645-6, Group IV, (29.98 grams), obv. mint mark without pellets, rev. pellet after C of CHRISO, rev. four pellets either side of mint mark, inverted N in REGNO, (S.2761, N.2198, Cooper XXIV/XXXVI, Brooker 272-3 [same obverse die]). Toned, round and attractive, very fine and rare.
