CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Tower mint under Parliament, silver crown, mm (P), issued 1643-4, Group IV, (29.85 grams), rev. group of four pellets either side of mint mark, (S.2761, N.2198, Cooper XXI/XXIX). Toned, fine/very fine and very rare.

Ex Spink London, March 1985 and previously from the collection of Lord (Rodney) Smith of Marlow Collection (No.69), purchased by Spink London, with ticket.
