CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Tower mint under king, silver crown, mm crown, issued 1635-6, Group III, type 3b, (29.64 grams), rev. plumes over shield, no stops at mintmark, harp of six strings, with scroll head harp, (S.2759, N.2196, Cooper XVI/XXII, Brooker 259 [same dies]). Toned, round and attractive, weak on horse, otherwise good fine/very fine and rare.
