CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Tower mint under king, silver crown, mm feathers, issued 1630-1, Group II, type 2b1, (29.57 grams), rev. plumes over shield with harp having a scroll, (S.2756, N.2192, Cooper IX/XII, Brooker 242-3 [similar dies]). Toned, round and attractive, very fine and very scarce.

Ex R. Lubbock, London, October 1979, and previously from the Grant R. Francis Collection, Glendining's 24 March 1920 (lot 105) and the West Country Collector (lot 55) Collection.
