EDWARD VI, (1547 - 1553), fine silver coinage 1551-3, silver crown, 1553, mm tun, (30.61 grams), obv. ...FRA,: Z : HIB': REX:, no pellets at date, round top 3 of date, (S.2478, N.1933, Lingford B-15). Light grey attractive tone, slightly double struck on the obverse, nearly very fine and very rare.

Ex Spink, Numismatic Circular, September 1983 (No.5636) and previously ex Lingford, Glendining & Co, October 24-26, 1950 (lot 38 illustrated), F.R. Cooper and Lord (Rodney) Smith of Marlow Collections, with tickets.
