EDWARD VI, (1547 - 1553), fine silver coinage 1551-3, silver crown, 1551, mm y, (30.90 grams), obv. ...FRANC': Z : HIBER': REX., pellet either side of date, rev. small fleurs de lis and lions, (S.2478, N.1933, Lingford A-3). Light grey attractive tone, slightly double struck on the obverse, good very fine and rare.

Ex Lord (Rodney) Smith of Marlow Collection, purchased from Spink London, August 1983, with ticket.
