INDO-PORTUGUESE, Malacca, Manuel I (1495-1521), tin bastardo, (18.66 grams), 30mm, obv. anchor with dots either side, legend around, rev. armillary sphere with six lines of latitude one eliptic part circle, (SS -, Vaz -, Gomes EI 02.03). Good very fine and rare.

Gomes regards this issue as a curiosity or fantasy.
