CHINA, Hsin Dynasty, Wang Mang Interregnum, "Ci Bu Jiu Bai", square shoulder and square base spade, (c.A.D. 9 -22), four characters spade money, value 900, length 50mm, (11.58 grams), (Hartill 9.28 grams, Coole 10069 Vol.7 p.197, TFP 482, Pl.54). Some green patina encrustation, otherwise good very fine and very rare.
