CAMBODIA, large tin coin, 9th - 11th century. 61mm diameter (70 grams), obv. stag squatting to right, dotted border, rev. script within line border, (M.-). Very fine some white powder oxidation on the reverse, very rare.

The issue is of similar style to those from Tenasserin (in Burma) which is of similar size and metal featuring an animal on one side and script on the reverse, (cf.Robinson & Shaw p.36-40).
