CNUT, (1016-1035), silver penny, quatrefoil type, issued 1017-1023, obv. CNVT REX ANGLOX, rev. +EA RDNOThDI NLVNDI, (Ealdred of Thetford), (S.1157, N.781, Br.2, BMC type viii, 272). Large flan crack across most of the coin, some peck marks, otherwise very fine and scarce.
