Sabinus, (89 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.974 grams), obv. bare head of king Tatius to right, SABIN behind, palm before, rev. two Roman soldiers each carrying a woman in his arms, L.TITVRI in exergue, (S.249 [£60 VF], Cr.344/1b, Syd.698a, B.Tituria 2). Large and round, good very fine and scarce.
