ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 220-1, (3.234 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around VICTORIA AVG, Victory hovering between two shields, star in right field, (S.7554, RIC 161, RSC 300a). Nearly extremely fine.
