DOMITIAN, issued as Caesar under Titus, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 80, (3.360 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around CAESAR DIVI F DOMITIANVS COS VII, rev. around PRINCEPS IVVENTVTIS, crested Corinthian helmet to right on draped seat or table, (S.2677 [ú240 EF], RIC T51, RSC 399a). Extremely fine and rare in this condition.

Ex Edgar L. Owen, New Jersey, USA with ticket and photos. The Reka-Devnia (Marcianopolis) Hoard contained 81,044 coins including 632 coins of Domitian, 23 of this variety.
