L. JULIUS BURSIO, (c.85 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.748 grams), obv. Genius (or Apollo Vejovis) bust laureate to right, trident and standing figure as a symbol behind, rev. Victory in quadriga to right, CE below L. IVLI. BVRSIO in exergue, (S.268, Cr.352/1c, Syd.728c, RSC Julia 5b). Uneven tone on reverse, otherwise very fine.
