BURMA, standard weight of the Burmese kings, Hantha bird, opium weight issued 19th century, weight 770 grams, height 98mm, corresponding to fifty Kyats (Robinson and Shaw, The Coins and Banknotes of Burma, Chapter 5, cf.pp.31-4 [figure 6 and 10], cf.M.2830). Very fine and rare.
