NEW SOUTH WALES, fifteen pence or dump, 1813, contemporary counterfeit in copper with wide grained milled edge. Pitted as usual, very good and very rare.

Probably ex Dave Raymond and ex Pitt St excavation, 1927. Has been tied to a board with photo of newspaper article, Daily Telegraph News pictorial in Dec 1927. Sold with original news clipping.
