PORT JACKSON & Manly Steam Ship Co Ltd, passes, type 1, diamond shaped with bulbous rounded corners with pierced hole for suspension, in silver-plated copper, large raised letter E in top centre, 'P.J.& M.S.S. Co' around bottom edges, reverse, impressed number 238 (rare employee pass); type 2, rectangular shape with concave cut-outs at sides, in silver-plated brass, 'P.J.& M.' at top and 'S.S. Co' at bottom with large raised letter F in centre, reverse, impressed number 247, (Seckold 480HP, 1109). The first fine and rare, the second extremely fine and scarce. (2)
