BADGES, Tasmania related and include. shield bearing initials 'HSS' (probably Hobart State School) with motto 'Prorsum Et Semper Honeste' (2, one green enamel and gilt, the other silver) (34mm x 40mm) pin-back, sterling silver, gilt issue has maker's name 'Stokes & Sons Melb' on reverse, other has no maker's name; intertwined initials 'LSS' (2) (25mm x 24mm) pin-back, sterling silver, stamped on reverse, silver and 'F.A.F.', one badge engraved on reverse, 'E.T. / 1929' (possibly Lovett, Langford or Latrobe State School); initials 'TC' overlaid inside cut-out outline of Tasmania (28mm x 27mm) pin-back, sterling silver, stamped on reverse, 'Golding Stg. Silver' (probably Tasmania Club); initials 'MSI' intertwined inside an ornate letter 'C' (26mm x 25mm) pin-back, sterling silver, stamped on reverse, 'Stg.Sil' (origins unknown); prize fob, engraved, 'Trinity College London' in top scroll, crest below, reverse engraved ' Junior Theory / 1930 / Nancy Horlock / 100% / Dond by / Local Centre', stamped, 'Stg.Sil. / T&S'.
