DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL AVIATION, hat badge (KC), oval (61mm x 34mm) enamel and gilt by Stokes, Melb.; another, later issue, no crown, shield shaped (50mm x 41mm) enamel and cupro-nickel, no maker. A few marks in the enamel of the first badge, very fine, the first scarce. (2)
