AWARD MEDALS, Royal Australian Mint, Canberra, undated in gilt (53mm) (C.R/7) in Royal Australian Mint presentation case, brown with gilt coat-of-arms; Royal Hobart Show, 1966, in silvered bronze (50mm) generic medal engraved with details of award, unnamed, cased; Sutherland Shire Commemoration, 1970, in silvered bronze (38mm) (C.1970/33) awarded by the Captain Cook Bicentenary Commemoration Committee; James Cook Dual Commemorative, 1979, in bronze (57mm) (C.1979/8) edge impressed 'The Metropolitan Coin Club of Sydney * 1728 - 1978 *** 1779 - 1979 * No.145 *', cased; Australian Bicentenary, Federal Council of Agricultural Societies, 1988, in bronze (50mm) cased; Ansett Australia's First International Flight to Denpasar, 1993, in gilt bronze (51mm) presentation medal, unnamed; Sun-Herald City to Surf 20th Anniversary Run, competitor's medal, 1990 in enamelled copper (57mm x 50mm) unnamed (attributed to Kristina Knight 3P); Telecom Advance Australia, Award of Merit, undated, in cupro-nickel (60mm) unnamed, cased. The last item has some verdegris on the reverse and the case lining has severe rust staining, otherwise all medals are uncirculated. (8)

Ex Tom Hanley Collection. The first medal box contains a hand-written note, 'This medal was presented to me by John Joslin for services rendered on the design panel of the Commonwealth Games Coins. Tom Hanley'. The fourth medal box contains a typed card with details of the medal and the fact that it was 'Presented to Mr.T. Hanley, on the occasion of the Clubs Annual Dinner 9th November 1979.
