INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSAL EXPOSITION, Paris, 1878, commemorative medal in bronze (86mm) by Oudine, in case of issue, inside lid embossed in gold lettering, 'Medaille Commemorative / Offerte / Pour / Services Rendus. / Caleb Peacock Esq. / Commissaire Honoraire / De L'Australie Du Sud.'; case embossed in gold 'Exposition Universelle Internationale' above a wreath with scroll at base with the title 'Ministere De Et Du Commerce L'Agriculture', inside scroll 'RF', at base 'Paris - 1878'. Uncirculated.

Caleb Peacock was Mayor of Adelaide 1875-1877.
