QUEEN VICTORIA, Melbourne Mint, pattern Jubilee head half sovereign, 1887 (McD 33b) struck in platinum (4.016g). Grey iridescent toned extremely fine and believed to be unique.

Ex J.G. Murdoch (lot 653); King Farouk (lot 1498) and H.N. Strauss (private tender sale 1999) Collections (McD p56).
