NEW ZEALAND, puggaree with several moth holes, red on khaki with NZ Rifle Brigade badge attached; sweetheart brooch of NZ Rifle Brigade enamelled collar badge on a circular mother-of-pearl backing; NZR brass shoulder title; brass crucifix (76mm X 39mm) with skull and crossbones at the base; soldier's diary 1919, several pages missing, not many entries (noted 30 June 1919 "Bells rang at Port Chalmers NZ Peace signed"; NZ Soldier's Pay Book for use on Active Service for Jack Higgins, NZRB, No.62063, NZEF, age 20, Killed-in-Action 22 August 1918; part of an In Memoriam card. Fine - very fine. (7)
