GROUP OF SEVEN: broken group, swing mounted, The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (Member in Military Division) (KC) (medal missing, ribbon only); 1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star (medal missing, ribbon only); Africa Star; Italy Star (medal missing, ribbon only); Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45 with Mention-in-Despatches emblem; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; Colonial Meritorious Service Medal - Commonwealth of Australia (GV Field Marshall's uniform); Royal Naval Reserve Decoration (GVR). A.Macgregor-Smith R.A.N.R. on first five medals, sixth medal has had name erased and seventh medal is unnamed. Naming appears to be privately done by individually punched characters to give appearance of being impressed. Very fine.
