GOLDEN JUBILEE OF QUEEN VICTORIA, 1887, in gold (58mm) official medal by J.E.Boehm and Frederick, Lord Leighton, obverse, crowned, veiled, and draped bust of Queen Victoria, reverse, enthroned figure of Empire, surrounded by figures representing the Arts and Industries of Britain, in exergue, five shields inscribed Asia, America, Europe, Australasia and Africa (BHM 3219, Eimer 1733). With original case of issue though part lifting of rear cover. Light scuffing in fields, otherwise nearly uncirculated.
