ADELAIDE EXHIBITION, 1881, award medal in silver (30mm), inscribed on reverse 'Chas Hill'. This medal with traces of original coin, extremely fine.

These medals were overstruck on English gothic florins. There were two varieties of the obverse and two of the reverse. Note '1881' serifs or plain, bow of wreath thick or thin.
