CASTLEMAINE AGRICULTURAL & HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY, 1868, handcrafted medal in silver (57mm), plain silver disc with an ornate floral design surround and swivel suspension from a scroll clasp, obverse, a central overlay of a cast silver bunch of grapes and leaves, inscribed around 'Agricultural & Horticultural Society Castlemaine', inscribed on reverse 'Best Colonial Red Wine / 1st Prize / Awarded / to / Mr Thos Meredith / Vintage 1868'. Extremely fine and rare.
