SICILY, Syracuse, reign of Hiketas, (288-279 B.C.), AE 22, (8.37 grams), obv. bust of youthful laureate head of Zeus Hellanios to left, trophy behind, rev. eagle to left with open wings standing on thunderbolt, to left a star, **[SUR]AK OSIW[N]*, (S.1211, cf.BMC 468, SNG ANS 810). Brown patina, short on flan, otherwise extremely fine and scarce.
